Closure of Madingley Parish Church for Restoration Work

The church will be closed for services and to visitors from Monday 14 August until Saturday 2nd December. Sunday services will be held in the Village Hall which can be found in the High Street, opposite the Three Horseshoes. Parking is available at the far end of the car park.

Stone conservation and restoration specialists, Spectrum Stone, will be taking up part of the floor in the Chancel which has been deteriorating for some time. New Ancaster Weatherbed stone from Lincolnshire will be laid and the opportunity taken to repair the communion rail. The church architect, Ashley Courtney, will be overseeing this project.
