National Gardens Scheme at Madingley Hall

The beautiful gardens of Madingley Hall will be open once again on Sunday 10th June from 2.30 – 5.30 pm.  Homemade teas will be served from the church throughout the afternoon when it will also be possible to enjoy this Grade 2* listed building whose history can be traced back over 900 years.  Teas are sold in aid of Madingley Church’s West End Development Fund.

16th century Madingley Hall (not open) is set in 8 acres of attractive grounds landscaped by Capability Brown. Features include landscaped walled garden with a hazel walk, alpine bed, medicinal border and rose pergola. There is also an historic meadow, topiary, mature trees and a wide variety of hardy plants. Admission to the gardens is £5 (children – free admission).
