The congregation moves back into the Parish Church

The West End Development Project is largely complete and so Sunday services are taking place in the Parish Church again starting at 10.30am. The first service took place on 22nd September after which the congregation took time to examine the new facilities – an accessible lavatory ‘pod’ constructed at ground floor level in the tower, a tea preparation unit to enable refreshments to be served and new vestry and servery which vastly improve storage facilities. The organ has been rebuilt in a new position with Bishops Organ Builders of Ipswich taking the opportunity to clean, tune and repair this much loved instrument. The church path has been upgraded, mains water connected to the church, plaster repaired and improvements made to access to the tower. We look forward to celebrating all that has been achieved, to thanking everyone who has made the project possible and to using these facilities for the benefit of all.
