Sunday services re-start at Madingley Parish Church after the second Lockdown

This Sunday, 6th December, the congregation of St Mary Magdalene, Madingley, will be able to worship together again in the Parish Church for a service of Morning Prayer conducted by Miss Susan Rawlings.

Every effort will be made to try to ensure the safety of those who attend with a reminder to continue to observe the following actions to protect one another:

  • Use the hand gel provided on entering the church
  • Wear a face covering at all times when inside the building
  • Stay at least 2 metres apart if you can (1 metre is permissible as you will be wearing a face covering).

Of course, the very safest option is to stay at home and watch the service being broadcast via the Girton Parish Church YouTube link (see details on the Services page). This service starts at 10am.

We were delighted that one of the services during the Lockdown was broadcast from Madingley – this photo records the 21st century very definitely moving into our ancient house of prayer.
